Save Our SURF Science Of SURF Coral Reefs are what makes the amazing surf in Hawai'i and around the world. Save the reefs = save the surf!
SURF SHOT OF THE WEEK! By Terry Lilley See more: http://www.pbase.com/lilley/
Global Warning for Global Warming: Climate changes may effect your surf spot - an inch or two rise in sea level would mean the surf will break on different parts of the reef or change sandbars... Has you spot changed? Email Terry
Help Terry by Donating to fund his research and outreach: ongoing underwater monitoring of the well known surf spots which will include weekly photos of the reefs. This way we can see the changes caused by global warming and the raising of the sea levels. Raising sea levels will cause the waves to break on a different spot on the reef and that may kill the coral and change the way the waves break! We must document this to know what to do in the future.
