Underwriting (tax deductible) is financial support from a corporation, business or foundation for a program on public television or print media.  In turn, SOS gives the underwriter visual and verbal acknowledgment at the broadcast or printing time. SOS audiences recognize this support for SOS TV because each program begins and ends with a financial support acknowledgment and underwriters are prominently placed in print media. We have 10 or 20 second underwriting spots.

Underwriting is tax-deductible and Commercials are not.
