Thank you for your e-mail sharing your program, Ocean Pulse, with me.

I am a strong supporter of local programs that teach our keiki the importance of protecting and maintaining our ocean and its resources.  By attracting their attention at a young age, we can hope that they will grow into future marine biologists or go into other fields that promote the well-being of our ocean. 

I also want to extend my aloha and congratulations to the success of The Tropic Bird educating students from Kapa'a on the importance of being drug-free.
